Since moving to Santa Fe in 2019, I have intended to get back in touch with Sally and to have one of our deep lunch discussions. She was a mentor (although I am older) and a dear and true friend. I am furious with myself for not getting in touch with her on one of my returns to the city I love: New Orleans. If her daughter, Lee reads this, I would so appreciate being able to connect with her. Sally was a friend and a rare one! She contributed so much to the New Orleans community and to her friends and family. I cannot adequately express my sadness and not having seen her again. Sally was always a joy to be with.
From far away travels to birthday group get togethers.
Her quiet, kind ways will be missed.

Sally was a wise and classy woman. She listened, and her judgements were always well-considered. Her legacy will be remembered far into the future.

My condolences to the family - Ms. Sally was a wonderful human and mentor! I worked with her at Nonprofit Knowledge Works and had the pleasure to learn about nonprofit consulting in New Orleans from her. She always had a unique perspective to share and believed strongly in her work. She also was very funny and interesting on many topics. I was blessed to have spent some time with her. I had recently asked after her to a colleague and was sad to hear she had just passed.
