Sally Dian Hile

For many years, I played bass on and off with various bands that Sally had in the DC area. The music included early jazz, swing, and the stage band for the British Music Hall Players in DC. Besides being a delightful person, she was a great piano player and had fine musical tastes. We missed her when she moved away. May perpetual light shine upon her.

I just found out about Sally's death through the Kappa Delta Sorority magazine. I'm so sorry to hear this news.
I met Sally through the Seattle Kappa Delta Alumnae Chapter, shortly after I moved from Miami. Every time I'd see her, she would warmly greet me, and we'd have delightful conversations. I will truly miss her!

Sally and Dick were my friends since we were assigned in Seoul. We crossed paths numerous times thereafter, in Spain, DC, and even in Upstate NY. I will miss them both, now.
