from my Sally Memorial garden

Alice Hanes gave me a group of tulips in memory of Sally last fall which she got from a Tulips Against Tumors program (http://www.facebook.com/TulipsAgainstTumors?sk=wall). So every spring I'll remember Sally.

Remembering Sally's kindness and grace ... keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

We are so very sad to hear of Sally's passing. I had a wonderful time volunteering alongside Sally at Speech School while our boys were in school together there. I will always remember her warmth and strength and courage and sense of humor. We are all better because we knew her. May her spirit flourish through you and the beautiful photographs she left behind. Please accept our sincere condolences to you and the boys. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

Sincerely,
The...

Our heartfelt sympathies are extended to David, the boys and all the Hopkins family. I only knew Sally through her photographs and website, which Evi had shared with me (her cousin) and the Harry family. Only a genuine and truly beautiful person could take such wonderful photographs. We are so sorry for your loss. Gail and Win Chadwick

"Dear Nancy and Dewey, and the Hopkins family: I grew up in Richmond and went to St. Christopher's and have many fond memories of Sally all throughout her years at St. Catherine's. She always carried a bright smile and was one of the sweetest girls to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Regards, John Barnard, Denver, Co.

I remember Sally welcoming me when I pledged TriDelt at UVA. She was a warm, graceful, radiant, beautiful person--inside and out. Heaven has been graced with another star and here on Earth we will miss her smile and loving warmth. Our thought are with the entire Hopkins, Morris, and Walmsley family.

To The Hopkins family, Dewey and Nancy, Kathy and Chris,
Sally's infectious smile will forever be engraved in my memories from our days at St. Catherine's and UVa. She was a wonderfully kind and warm-hearted person and she always had that gentle smile on her face. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your children during this difficult time. Sally's ray of sunshine was a gift to all of us who knew her. Sarah Williams

I remember Sally from my first year at UVA. It was my first year and we were in the midst of rush before I joined her as a tri-delt. She was always warm, inviting and easy to be around! David, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sally and I were in the same Tri-Delt pledge class at UVa. My heart is so heavy in learning of the loss of sweet, sweet Sally. So many others have commented on her wonderful smile. It was the first thing that I thought of when I heard your sad news. Her beauty just radiated out of her when she smiled! David, I will keep you and your precious boys in my ferverent prayers. I'm so sorry.
