Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss and your pain I am deeply saddened because I grew up with your family as a child all because of my mother (Henrietta Baylor who was your family housekeeper and was much more than that too your Mother and Father! Sorry I just found out about your Mother´s passing tonight looking at the Obituaries on Al.com would have been a great pleasure to just be there! May God continue his blessings for your family. Love always Henrietta daughter Dean one of the Twins please...

Susan and Sally, my condolences to you on the death of your mom, who was a talented artist and lovely, gracious person - your obituary says it quite well - and who always encouraged me to pursue my own creative work whenever I encountered her. My parents were friends, and I will always appreciate Sally and Jim attending my mom's service in 2006.

Susan and Sally Ann, my Roosevelt siblings join me in expressing our sympathy for your loss. Your mom was indeed a beautiful, loving, and talented person, and a great friend to our family. She will be greatly missed and long remembered. Laura Patterson.

I remember your family with great fondness. Your mother was a welcoming neighbor when we bought our first house across the street. Much later, I took her paper-making class at the Museum, a real treasure. She was as beautiful and talented as ever.

We were neighbors in Bluff Park for many years. Sally taught my girls art as part of our neighborhood mom´s day out classes. I still have one of those pictures. Sally Johnson was a beautiful person inside and out. I valued our friendship over the years. She will be missed by many. Linda Chastain
