Not sure what to say?

Sally, we will miss you! You were such a positive spirit, always smiling and ready for fun. Your great love for children and animals was apparent. I hope you're surrounded by their happy faces now.

Ms Kemp had been a long time customer of ours here at PostNet. Her smiles will be greatly missed by us all. My condolences to the family. I hope they are able to find loving homes for her dogs, if not, let me know and I will see what I can do to help. Sincerely
Jeannie Shears

I remember hoping that when I left Mrs. Bradow's 1st Grade class, I would be promoted to Miss Kemp's class for Second grade. She took field trips!! We got to go to the dairy and all sorts of other places. And after having my head down on the desk for being late by one minute, I have spent a life understanding the need for punctuality. The year was 1967...

Miss Kemp was my second grade teacher at South Calhoun and I have so many wonderful memories of my time in her class. Then I was honored to have her teach my children at Harrison Hill. She will be greatly missed. She was such a dedicated teacher and it was obvious she loved each and every one of her students.

I was sorry to here of Miss Kemp's passing. I had her as a second grade teacher at South Calhoun school in 1957-58. I saw her joy of teaching through the eyes of a second grader. Now I to am a third grade teacher and have taught for 34years in 1st and 3rd grade. I hope I can bring that joy to my students as she did to me. She will be missed.

I was sorry to hear about Sally's passing this afternoon. I worked with her at the zoo on many occasions and she was always pleasant to be around. She always had a smile to share. She will be missed by her extended family at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.

It is sad to hear of Sally's passing. She was a delight to work with at Harrison Hill. Sally dedicated her life to teaching and her students were blessed to have Miss Kemp as their teacher.

I know Sally is in heaven with our lord, I'm going to miss her.

I was sorry to see the passing of Mrs. Kemp in the paper this morning, but I can tell she led a full and happy life. I used to see her working at the zoo and could tell she was doing something she loved. She was my 2nd and 3rd grade teacher at South Calhoun many years ago and has remained in my memories because she was such a wonderful and caring teacher. I count myself lucky to have been in her classes. God bless you Mrs. Kemp.
