Not sure what to say?

Sweet Sally was a close friend, and college roommate of my late wife, Cynthia, at UVA Grad School. We stated in touch, over the many years. Sally was outgoing, interesting, curious, and adventurous. She and I shared a ongoing interest in American History, and Virginia History particularly. We visited the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Virginia Holocaust Museum, and we stood on the ground where Lord Cornwallis surrened his sword to General Washington, in Yorktown. After her and Bill...

So very sorry to hear of Sally's passing. I worked with Bill for many years at "Vepco" and of course you couldn't be friends with Bill without being friends with Sally.....just as the obituary mentions.....Sally and Bill. I loved hearing of their sailing travels.....weekends on Mobjack and summers to Maine and who knows where else! They are sailing together again now. My deepest condolences to her family.

Sally was a great friend and colleague. She was a great inspiration, I loved hearing about her adventures and what she was planning do next. We shared some fun times. Sally will be missed.

Always her children came first. Professional in all areas. I worked with her at Carver Elementary School in Henrico schools. I was a custodian. Now you and Bill are together.

It was always fun to be with Sally. One of my favorite memories is being with her on a balcony in Marathon,FL. She could identify all the sailboats going past, how much they cost and how they were equipped. As usual she made it much more interesting and fun. Hope you are reminiscing with Bill now about sailing.

Meeting you and spending time with you made an impact on me. You became an instant friend! Your joyful spirit spread so quickly. Wishing you eternal peace with Bill. Pat Joeckel

During the pandenic, Sally & I walked the City's historic neighborhoods, cemeteries and parks at least 3 days a week. She loved Quoit Club and visiting historic sites in the Northern Neck & Middle Peninsula. She was always up for an adventure! Miss you, Sally
