Not sure what to say?

Remembering the last day that we were able to share with Sally. We were roofmates both sitting on our back decks, she said come over here and let's have a glass of wine. Bob was in the midst of planning to have the deck redone, or it was in process. We sat on her deck and enjoyed a glass of Rose with her. She seemed at peace and still had a twinkle in her eye! It was a good afternoon...

Dearest Sally, Your smile was one in a million. Your heart a cozy warm fire in the blizzard of life. The laugh and love in your eyes everpresent, always there to comfort each and every person in ways only you knew how. I will miss all those things about you but will carry them with me as all those who knew and loved you will. Your kindness and optimism, your happiness and love of life are ingrained in our souls. Be at peace, and dance in our dreams until we meet again.

Sally came into our lives for a reason. She was like a godsend at the time. She had a way of helping people weather their storms even though she was in the midst of battling the biggest storm of her life.
She came into our life for a reason, we knew her only for a short season but thoughts of her will remain for a lifetime.

Knowing Aunt Sally meant experiencing laughter, fun, and love. From the first time I met her, she welcomed me and my family into the Maddox clan, with open arms. Always smiling, she made everyone, who met her, feel at home. Now, she's at home, enjoying true peace and is in the presence of Her Heavenly Father. Uncle Bob, Julie, and the rest of the family, please know that our prayers and thoughts are with you. We love you, Steve, Vicki, Stephanie Maddox; Chad, Christina, & Nick Walker

Will never forget her easy smile, quick whit and the family history lesson received. Deepest sympathy to Bob, Julie, Don and Ann and all who loved this dear sweet woman.

We’re sorry to read about Sally’s passing. She was an inspiration to all who crossed her path. Our condolence to her family.
Scott (Newcomerstown ’53) and Brookie Martin

Julie,
I'm so sorry to learn that your mom lost her fight to cancer on Monday. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. She was a special lady.

Here's something that Jane Taylor gave us in one of our Continuing Ed sessions for Stephen Minister that might help ease your pain:
"What Cancer Cannot Do"
Cancer is so limited ...
It cannot cripple LOVE
It cannot shatter HOPE
It cannot corrode FAITH
It cannot destroy PEACE
It cannot kill...
