Sally and Bill were the dearest lifelong friends of my father Carl , he spoke of them often and when I did a story on his WWII experience, Sally was incredibly helpful and forthcoming with a photo and stories. She was so gracious and everything I would expect From all the the accolades from dad. Our greatest generation parents are gone but I hope we hold some of their qualities in our hearts and continue their legacy.
