Sally "June" McGinnis, age 87, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at her home. She was a member of Pine Knob Missionary Baptist Church of Clarkston, Michigan. She was retired from the Hamblen County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Porter McGinnis; parents, Corum Wolfenbarger and Alta Coffey; stepfather, Alva "Polly" Coffey; sons-in-law, Raymond Collins, Claiborne Rucker; and granddaughter, Danielle McGinnis.
Survivors include her son, Scotty "Scooter" McGinnis, daughters, Linda Collins, Kathy (Mark) White, Cindy (Jack) Hazeltine, Portia Russell; grandchildren, Michael (Denise) McGinnis, Jeff (Lori) Collins, Greg Collins, Chrystal (Larry) Boatman, Jamie (Danielle) Hazeltine, Heather (Jeff) Calfee, Brenda Epps, Nikki Ogan, Christie McGinnis; brother, C H Wolfenbarger of Waterford, Michigan; sister, Juanita Frye of Washburn; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathon Bewley officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Saturday, November 10 at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be Michael McGinnis, Jeff Collins, Greg Collins, Jamie Hazeltine, Blake Hazeltine, Tanner Collins, and Dakota Hopkins.
