Not sure what to say?

Cousin Sally was a hero in our Venters Family as she was the master of organizing and printing our Venters Family History. Through corresponding with cousins across the U.S., she connected us and reunited our family. Her sharp mind and gentle prodding encouraged us to dig and dig for every scrap of family facts. She willingly shared photos and stories with us. We first met at the Portland City Library, bringing our albums, etc., and that began our work together. Her direct ancestor was...

Sally was my dear friend for many years, mainly through our ringing bells in the Westminster Bell Choir. We had such good times together and lots of laughs and tears, too. In my mind, I can still hear Sally's lilting voice and laughter. Goodbye, dear one, till we meet again.

Love you forever grandma. Your soul and spirit will live on in us. In our love for music and all things adventure, we feel you with us everyday.

Very sorry to hear about your Mom. You guys moved away before I knew her very well. I do know she had her hands full keeping Matt and I in line at times. Lol. Hope you all are doing well, and no that you are in our prayers.

Vicki and I are truly saddened to learn of Sally´s passing. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed. Sally was so talented, musically and creatively. We will always treasure the many hand-made cards she sent us over the years. And we are so appreciative of all she did with the family history. Her dogged research and sharing spirit surely brought so many of us cousins closer together! With loving memories, Bill & Vicki Andrews

Jill and Lois, we are so sorry to hear of Aunt Sally's passing. We have appreciated her interest in our lives and encouragement from afar over the years. We read her book from cover to cover and so admire her full, rich life. Our thoughts are with you both. Love from Wendy and family.

Aunt Sally was always kind & loving with me. May she dance in the sky and sing with the angels (Dani)

Sally will not only be missed by her family but her friends from DHS. She was our link to each other -past and present. I´m sure she is busy getting an angel hot line started! You will be remembered, my friend!
