Sally loved life and living every day to the fullest even after being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease more than fifteen years ago. Sally graduated from the College of Charleston, second in her class, in 1987 while pregnant with her son Ross. Sally worked as an accountant.

She enjoyed yoga, pilates and, yes, the Rock Steady Boxing program at GRIT BOX Fitness in West Ashley. An enthusiastic Carolina Gamecocks fan she and Benny recently travelled to Tampa for the Outback Bowl to watch the Gamecocks defeat the University of Michigan 26-19 on New Year's Day. Sally and Benny enjoyed seeking out new places most recently travelling to Ireland and Scotland. Sally participated in several yoga retreats to Bali with her son, with her daughter and also with her yoga enthusiast friends. She was active in Al-Anon.
