Sally Smith Weinland was my 3rd grade teacher at Marvin Marshall. She was Miss Smith when the school year started, married during the school year and honeymooned at Sun Valley, ID. She was one of my favorite teachers and while she was teaching at Deterding she encountered my best friend's sons.

Sally was a Special Lady and will be missed! My husband Joe, and Sally & I think Don, went to Carmichael Elementary school together and up until he passed away in 2013, they organized and were still attending the Elementary School Reunions! I can only imagine what the 3 of them are organizing in Heaven now! One of the many fond memories I have of Sally is, How such a petite lady like Sally could eat so much ice cream! Again, Sally was Special and her many friends in the Sacramento Area...
