She was my 3rd grade teacher att Wilkerson Elementary School

I met Ms. Sallye Davis during the summer of 1976 at East Thomas swimming pool, Birmingham, Alabama. I taught Eisa and Bengy swimming lessons during this time. Ms. Davis and I became very good friends. When I was removed from the Roman Catholic priesthood seminary program, she fought to get me reinstated, even though she was not Catholic.
