To the Basile Family, Very Sorry About The Loss Of Your Father. The Tribute Was Very Touching To Me. I Used To Live In Port Orange Years Ago. You Are In My Prayers.I would enjoy talking to you over the phone. Your dad was a hero, god bless your family. I love you all in christ, love, Randy Winkler PS I live in pa. chambersburg

I first met him over thirty years ago, as a new letter carrier, and he stood out. Always greeted me with a smile, and never uttered a harsh word to or about anyone. I will miss him.

Mike, a well written and moving obituary.

I met Sal while teaching his daughter Susan at Mainland Junior. A great parent and guys, always kept his chin even after the tragic loss of Susan. Sal was a model for us all father, patriot and friend.

My Dad worked with Sal at the Post Office for years and I played many games of handball in the late 60's, early 70's with him at the old 3 wall Welch courts. A good man, my condolences to the family.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Basile, finally together again with your dear daughter, Susan.

Our sincere condolences to the Basile family. Bill and Barbara Bothwell
