Salvatore Robert 'Bob' D'Angelo YARDVILLE Salvatore Robert "Bob" D'Angelo, 80, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019. Born in Trenton, he resided in the surrounding area all his life. He was retired from the County of Mercer's Mosquito Control Commission, where he was a supervisor. Bob loved maintaining and displaying his antique cars at cruise nights and car shows, especially his 1956 Chevy. He was a life member of the Central Jersey Antique Car Club, New Jersey's oldest car club, and was the first member to become a three-term president. He was an avid horologist and member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, and enjoyed collecting pocket watches. Son of the late Joseph D'Angelo and Mary D'Angelo (nee Auletta), Bob was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" D'Angelo; a daughter and son-in-law, Michele and James Leonardi, and a granddaughter, Delilah Leonardi, of Levittown, PA. He is survived by his wife, Lois D'Angelo (nee Clark) of Yardville; a son, Robert D'Angelo of Trenton; a daughter, Stacey D'Angelo of Trenton; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Patrice D'Angelo of Hamilton; a son, Kenneth D'Angelo of Trenton; two sisters, Lois D'Angelo and Cheryl D'Angelo of Trenton; and five grandchildren, David Swangler Jr., Anthony D'Angelo, Katrina and Robert Leonardi, and Nathaniel Bunda. Calling hours will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton. A memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Jersey Antique Car Club, P.O. Box 2588, Hamilton, NJ 08690. Arrangements are under the direction of Alloway Funeral Home, Inc., Merchantville.

I loved his collection of antique cars. Nobody had cars like the ones Bob owned.

Bob and I grew up together. We shared a paper route together and had pigeons together.I used Bob's car for my Honeymoon.Time flies by too quickly. RIP my friend. Fran Miller
