GIAMBANCO, Salvatore (Tot•), passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 12, 2011 at 1 p.m. He was born on March 16, 1943 in Carini, Palermo Sicily. He moved to Tappahannock Va. 25 years ago where Roma Ristorante Italiano became his second home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Filippo Giambanco. He is survived by five brothers, Filippo and his wife, Elena Giambanco (caregivers), Giuseppe Giambanco, Antonino and his wife, Joan Giambanco, Giovanni Giambanco, Vincenzo and his wife, Maria Giambanco, three sisters, Rosa Giambanco, Rosaria Giambanco, Maria and her husband, Giuseppe Mandal…; his nieces and nephews, Anthony and Patrizia Giambanco, Anna and Angelo Mannino, Angelo and Josephine Zimbardo and his favorite nephew and caregiver, Johnny Giambanco. He was loved and adored by many great nieces and nephews, Salvatore and Maria Mannino, Elena and Vincenzo Sanzone, Filippo and Cristina Giambanco, Philip and Lesley Mannino, Rosalia Giambanco, Antonio Mannino, Giuseppe, Ariana, and Gianluca Giambanco. He will be greatly missed and be forever remembered and in our hearts. May he rest in peace and lie peacefully in the arms of the Lord. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Marks-Bristow Funeral Home, 206 Church Lane, Tappahannock, Va., 22560. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Tappahannock. Interment will follow in Essex Cemetery.
