Happy 99th birthday in heaven Daddy!

It´s been 14 years Dad. You wouldn´t believe what going on in the world since you´ve been gone. Thank you for your example of so many thing including how to think gif ourselves as Americans. I love you more with each passing year...

It will be 10 years on Wednesday December 18th since youve been gone. I think about you everyday and dream about you often. Always on my mind, always in my heart. ❤

The bonds of friendship that go beyond time are but a shadow of the eternal life we know God has prepared for those who love him. Sal and all of you are remembered in a special way in my prayers. Katie Mindling, RSM Silver Spring, MD

Dad, I used to think the greatest gifts you imparted to us were art and music. Some of us filled the house with the sounds of improvisational piano and guitar as well as flute and a garage band or two during our teenage years. Others spent hours in arts and crafts projects from simple sketches and crayoned greeting cards to macramé projects and oil paint-by-numbers. With art and music we learned we could bear anything life throws our way. Through the stories of your life and by examples...

Thank you everyone who reached out us during this time of loss. Your prayers, visits, phone calls and emails were precious to us. Thank you also to all who were able to be with us for the viewings and/or funeral service. While we will miss dad, we know he is waiting for us in the Father's presence. That reality brings us much consolation.

Dad,
I am so grateful for the life we shared and for these last years and these last weeks.
I remember that you were always teaching me through work, through life and through everyday experiences. There was still another lesson to be learned. That of facing death with courage, dignity and trust in God.
You endured heroically and were an inspiration to all who witnessed your last week with us.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Love,
Your son,
Peter

Dear Phyllis and Family,

I never had the privilege to meet Sal in person so I can only catch a glimpse of what a husband, father and citizen he was through the account of his life. Just that alone was a powerful testimony. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in your loss and may the "peace of God which surpasses all understanding" be with you.

Thinking of all of you at this time, many good memories of years gone by... my love to all in this time of loss...
