Salvatore Guastella

I had the pleasure of being Sal's physician during the latter part of his years in Naples. He was good natured, kind, loyal and friendly. He had an aura about him that made people like him instantaneously. While it is sad to know that he is gone, I am grateful that he enriched my life.

John, Stephanie, and Peter, I was sad to hear of your father's passing and send condolences on behalf of my family. It is great that you had him for as long as you did. I remember your Dad as a standout in the neighborhood with a positive attitude and a kind disposition. And of course, I remember the tune of his whistle when he summoned you all home. I've practiced it from time to time. That is among the fine memories I have of him.

To the children and grandchildren of Mr Guastella. I took over the New Dorp territory that your father covered at Prudential in 1989. Your father had retired about 4 years earlier and for the next many years I heard so many nice things about him. So many people would ask how he was and to send him their regards. My job was easier because of all of the good will that he created by being such a trusted advisor to these people. Although I never got to meet your father I was lucky to follow...
