Not sure what to say?

Ann and I were saddened to hear of your loss. We remember fondly Sal's parents, Zio Piddu & Zia Concetta and his sisters Vincenza, Antoinette & Yolanda, who were my sainted mother's favorite relatives. May Sal rest in peace, and may his beloved Angeline, Paul, Carl and Donna find comfort in their faith and the prayers of their family and friends.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to my Aunt Angie and her family. I wish I had told My Uncle Sal how much I appreciated him calling my mother almost every day. And during the baseball season, reminding her that there was a Yankee Game on TV that evening. I always looked up to My Uncle and respected his sometimes strong opinions. I know my daughter Kristen will also miss her Uncle Sal as he was like a Grandfather to her. Although it was a struggle for him, he made sure that he was at her 1st...

Dear Carl & Family,

I am deeply saddened to learn regarding the loss of your dad. It was incessantly joyful and forever significant to see him in attendance for all of our games. I feel your loss and pray this message finds you in good health and (hopefully soon) high spirits.

I often think about all the guys and sometimes feel guilty that I've not kept in contact to my fullest ability. We spent a lot of youth together on those ball fields. I told Dewey that we should get...

Mrs. Guzzardi,
I'm sending my condolences to you & your family for your loss. My good memories of your family and Mr. G are many and full of happiness. All the years Carl & I played baseball together I know were a source of enjoyment for him. We not only were from the same neighborhood we also shared the same family values. Some of my fondest memories were conversations about sports or playing cards at the Guzzardi house and both were always filled with his passion. Of all my friends...

To the Guzzardi Family

Meaghan, Ally, & Family-

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandfather. May the memories you hold in your hearts bring you peace in the difficult days ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Love always.

Some words on my own behalf, Holly had signed in earlier.

I always looked up to Sal as such an intelligent, dignified and loyal family man. I always loved him as my dad's kid brother. I always admired his marriage as a great example. He always made me laugh. Words cannot express my sorrow at his passing. I am comforted to remember that I took the chance I had to kiss him on the face and tell him I loved him the last time I saw him. Godspeed Sal.

Dear Family,
We are sorry to hear of your loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dearest Gus, Carol, Donna & family,

What a beautiful write-up about your dad (even though he is a Yankee's fan, only kidding) and what a wonderful dad/grandfather/great-grandfather he must have been.

Gus & Donna, you both have been very blessed to have had such a wonderful father image in your lives. Not everyone can make that proclamation.

You're all in my thoughts and prayers. God-bless.

Love,
Marlene
