We knew Sal through Helen (our aunt) who pasted away a few years ago. Sal had been to our house many times and we talked together at many family functions of the Helen side. We acquired an original Sal I. painting many years ago and have placed it in a prominent place in our home. We recently downsized and had to reduce the number of art work which could be hung. So sorry for your loss, I have been to the Smithsonian and have seen Salvatores's watercolors.Truly amazing! he has left something he will always be remembered for.
