R.I.P. Sal. Deepest sympathy to Family & Friends. My Dad would bring me to Sal's Market. We had a small grocery store on 7th street, Easton. Hall's Grocery. Fond memories.

Sal and family, We are so sorry to hear of your father´s passing. He was legendary. My fondest memories of him and your family was at the yearly Holy Cross park "festa". May he rest in our Lord´s eternal peace.

So sad to hear of Mr. Panto´s passing. It was no secret how fond we were of him, with his family helping to welcome us to College Hill 45 years ago. Somehow he always managed a smile and a caring comment from behind the counter, with Paulie in front making our kids feel special. In more recent years I´ve had the pleasure of getting to know Mr. Panto better. His upbeat attitude has been downright inspirational. Such a legacy for the family.
