Salvatore J. Perrone, 86, of Clifton, N.J., peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 23, 2014, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral will be from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Ave., Clifton, on Thursday, March 27, at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Ave., Clifton, at 10 a.m. Entombment is in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visiting is Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. www.marroccos.com
Sal resided in Bloomfield, N.J., and later moved to Clifton, where he spent many wonderful years.
Sal served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He had a lifelong career with Chevrolet, the bulk of it as parts manager for Malcolm Konner, at the time the largest Corvette dealership in the U.S.
Salvatore is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Antoinette "Toni" (nee Marmo); his three children, Dianne Pannorfi and her husband, Tom, Patricia Accuosti and her husband, James, and Louis J. Perrone. He is also survived by his adored grandchildren, Thomas C. Pannorfi and his wife, Kristin, Gina Pannorfi-Yulfo and her husband, Nestor, Laura Jones and her husband, Brian, Cynthia Jones and her husband, Bradley, Errica Pannorfi, Stephanie Accuosti-Sadder and her husband, David, Salvatore A. Perrone, and his cherished great-granddaughter, Lila Ann Jones. Salvatore was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and cherished friends.
