Haven't seen Sal in years but I remember him as a cute boy who was always polite, smiling and a joy to be with. Lived down the street from him when he grew up in N.O. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. RIP Sal you were a fantastic person. Mary Phillips

I just heard about Sal and my heart is breaking. Such a talented young man. He was my neighbor at the Courtyard and I enjoyed all the talks we used to have. He never let his illness get him down. He was always such a positive force. My sympathy to his parents, Uncle Pete, and the rest of his family. Our loss and Heaven's gain. RIP my friend.
