Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I crossed paths with Sam in the Kairos Prison Ministry, and when Sam was head of the Team Selection Committee for Alabama Emmaus Walk 227. He is remembered, with joy in my heart, for the "good fruit" he has borne through Christ that is blessing our world, particularly those who find themselves behind prison walls. While we have lost Sam's presence, the love from God which he allowed to flow through him, lives on!
