I just found out. A great friend of my family. We had a very happy time reuniting with his family in the Basque Country.

Rest in peace, my friend. It´s been a long time, but I´ve never forgotten your kindness. I was 20 when I started at arctic circle and was your receptionist! I thought of Kathy and your family over the years and I´d like them to know how much they meant to me at that time in my life! Thanks for the memories

I will always remember Sam for his great stories and dry sense of humor. Sam took the time and gave great advice to me when I was young , when I am sure he had better things to do. Condolences to the family. I always enjoyed exchanging pleasantries with Sam when our paths crossed in McCall. He always had a great smile and positive attitude. His life story reads like the American Dream that it no doubt was. Godspeed.
