Not sure what to say?

I was a volunteer with Sam at the Getty and his delight with USC, and out weekly bet gave him joy! We attended movies, and had a wonderful time.
I wish the family my sincere wishes, for he was one of a kind.
I hope he and Dorothy are together again.

May God bless your family. Sam was a one-of a-kind man who never met a stranger.

I met Sam at The Getty as a co-volunteer and felt I had met my sweet grandfather again. What a lovely, soft-spoken, kind and gentlemanly man he was.I looked forward to rehashing that weekend's USC games with him and hearing about his travels in the USC programs. He was a fantastic dancer at our Volunteer parties and cut quite a rug with me!I miss Sam and know he is dancing with his Dorothy.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, his dear family.

When I first met Uncle Ben close to 40 years ago, he was bigger than life, full of joy, and made such an impression on me. He was so loved by all of his family, and we will remember him always!

Dear Gale, Jane, Adrienne and Lane. We are truly sorry for the loss. I enjoyed very much the time I met Sam, I still get an occasional email from SBC that DSL is still not available in his area. Gale so badly wanted to get his internet speed up so he could enjoy more emails. May he find Dorothy and dance the night away.

I only knew Sam late in his life at Sepulveda Men's Golf Club, but glad I had even that. He was not a great golfer, but enjoyed playing golf as much as a low handicapper. And always good-natured & pleasant be be with. He had a great voice & I can understand why he did so well in broadcasting. Godspeed Sam; we will miss you.

Sam was the most gracious, generous boss one could wish for. His cheereful and positive attitude made him to be respected and much loved. He always will be rememberd and missed very much.

Dear Gale, Jane, Adrienne and Lane,
What an accomplished role model with an outstanding life to be celebrated. My thoughts and sympathies are with you as you mourn your loss and honor Sam Bensussen.
