Sam was always friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Years after he left the bicycling business, we met on a ride. He recognized me and we had a great chat. I also appreciated all the work Sam did for the city. He was trustworthy and honest and the city is a better place for his work.

Please accept my condolences for your loss. May God comfort you and give you peace during this most difficult time.

Sam will be missed. He was a wonderful and faithful man. I enjoyed our conversations both through work and school. Prayers for his family and friends for peace and comfort.

To Marcia, Herm and Esther, Jim and Connie and the rest of the family, you have my heartfelt sympathy for the news of Sam passing. He fought a good fight and is now resting in our Father´s arms free from pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through this difficult time.
