May God bless you and your...
I first met Sam Bombel in 1998, when I moved to Flint. We became friends almost at once, because Sam was truly the nicest fellow you could ever meet. I always enjoyed listening to his stories about bowling, and his trips with his beloved Gladys. I especially remember how he loved the Yiddish song, "Grine Kozine."
I was very shocked and saddened to hear about Sam's passing. It sounds like a cliche, but truly, Sam will be missed. God bless you, Sam.
