Mr. Sam, what fun everyone had by the grocery. No one called it Culotta, just SAM. You were a friend to everyone in the neighborhood, it was the place to meet day or night. Rest in peace Pawpaw. I know you will be watching over me and my family and all your grandchildren and families. You were the "little engine that could". You are sadly missed everyday but I know you are rejoicing with the Lord.

We sincerely regret that we were not able to find the memorial service of Mr. Sam. As we went to St. Louis # 3 cemetary to pay our last respects on Saturday September 7. All of us had a great admiration for Mr. Sam and Mrs. Darlene. May his soul rest in peace. God gave him a long life and he was so nice and served the community
untiringly.
Our sympathy goes out to the family. We sure regret that we could not find the area the memorial was being held.
