Delores, Darwin & Gail: The Eng's & Krumwiede's go back a long way from Coleharbor to Pick City and then to Hazen & Beulah. We will always remember Sam's quick wit and sly sense of humor. He parked his horse in our backyard in Pick City a time or two. We sang at the "Gong Shows" in Hensler at the River Rat, worked cattle at Oster's and of course, the annual birthday party at the Dam Bar. To Delores and family
We are going to miss Sam. But I will always have the memory of those late night music concerts after the Dam Bar closed and how Dad and Sam and eveyone played and sang to the wee hours of the morning and finished it with breakfast.And all the good times in the butcher shed making the sausage. Now Sam is with my Dad and I bet they are singing to the Angels now.

Delores, we are sorry to hear of Sam's passing. He was a very good man and will be missed. I had the pleasure of seeing him at the Hazen jam last year and he & I played music together. Delores if you remember we were in school together from grades 1 thru 12. We will remember you and your family in our prayers.
