Not sure what to say?

Susan, so sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. Love and prayers to you and your family during this difficult time. Miss our tennis days, but, hope to see you at the bridge club.

Sam Farlow had perhaps, the most beautiful ball flight of anyone, I have ever witnessed, and of course, his record in Alabama and U.S Amateur golf, speaks for itself . It was his fun loving attitude and personality, quick wit and ability to take as well as he could dish out , that drew so many people to Sam . He would say only half jokingly " I hardly look for my own ball son, so don´t expect me to hunt yours very long !" Frances´ father, Jackie Cummings loved Sam and through their...

To Sam's Family. I saw Sam a few months ago at Therapy South in Crestline when both of us were there for Physical Therapy. We had a short but very nice conversation. Much has been said about Sam and his tremendous accomplishments in Golf in the Alabama winning many State Championships, and especially at the Country Club of Birmingham where he excelled over many years. I am fortunate to know him from the Country Club. Please know that I send the family my sympathy and condolences, and...

Sam was one of my best friends and he was definitely one of a kind !! He was usually found holding court in the 19th hole most afternoons. I can honestly say the 19th hole will never be the same. He had great wit and had a wonderful memory for regaling stories and telling jokes! He will be sorely missed by all his many friends. My thoughts and prayers are with Susan and all of the Farlow family!

Will have many memoires of Sam on the golf course. Always the consummate competitor and gentleman.

My prayers are with the Family. He is in God's hands now. Thomas David Farlow.
