Sam Farlow had perhaps, the most beautiful ball flight of anyone, I have ever witnessed, and of course, his record in Alabama and U.S Amateur golf, speaks for itself . He would say only half jokingly " I hardly look for my own ball son, so don´t expect me to hunt yours very long !" Frances´ father, Jackie Cummings loved Sam and through their...

I am fortunate to know him from the Country Club. Please know that I send the family my sympathy and condolences, and...

Sam was one of my best friends and he was definitely one of a kind !! He was usually found holding court in the 19th hole most afternoons. I can honestly say the 19th hole will never be the same. He had great wit and had a wonderful memory for regaling stories and telling jokes! He will be sorely missed by all his many friends. My thoughts and prayers are with Susan and all of the Farlow family!
