I offer my sincere condolences to the Gooden Family, Friends and Fans. I have loved The Impressions since I first heard Sam's voice. It made me love him more and so proud to know he and Fred were from Chattanooga, TN where I was born. I have almost every album The Impressions made, never missed their shows whenever they came to the DC area and I consider myself a diehard fan. Sam received his wings, now he has joined Curtis, Ralph, Smokie, and Reggie. I can just imagine the songs they will sing: People Get Ready, We're a winner, I thank Heaven and so many others. RIH, you are missed by so many of your family, friends and fans!
