Not sure what to say?

Sam was larger than life. He rose to the pinnacle of his profession and was recognized for it, carving his place in the History of Plastic Surgery. But to me and my family, he will be best remembered for his love of family and for arranging from the earliest of days to visit us in Jamaica every Christmas holidays with Sonia and the boys, so that the cousins could grow up being close. As a result, Andrew, Taylor, my son Craig and our brother´s son Jason remain close friends and loving cousins...

Mentor, Colleague, Friend...and incredible Human Being. He lived life well and leaves an eternal legacy. I was privileged to know him. Dr Patrick Maxwell

I am a patient of Dr H-- he and I became friends when he worked on me. Dr H was a gifted doctor but he was a fabulous artist. My gratitude is beyond measure. He made all his patients feel like friends i am sure but I really felt like he was my friend. Trusted him explicitly-- it was good if he said it---except with politics-- we liked to battle over that subject. Blessings to the family-- he was a dear person ! Melissa

A great mentor for international plastic surgeons also.

I am saddened about the news of Dr. Hamra's passing. He was one of the biggest influences on my lifelong interest and career as a Plastic surgeon specializing in facelift surgery. As his "first fellow" (at least that's what he said) I spent six weeks absorbing as much as I could, witnessing his analysis of...

We are extremely saddened to hear of Dr. Hamra´s passing. A great gentleman . I´ll miss our chit chats in Arabic. Rest in peace .

I knew Sam in Libya. He was such a kind, wonderful, caring man. He fixed my daughter´s broken arm in 1968 and it´s a perfect arm today! I´m sorry for the loss of a great friend and human being. Much love, Betty Sue Cooper
