Not sure what to say?

WOW a year has gone by I still think of Sam often I hope you are in a much better place Ol Buddy

My dad took me to see Sam when I was 8 years old. It was a fun place for me to go because of all the hats he had on his walls. I loved walking around and looking at all of them. Then one day they were gone. A simpler decor. The constant that was Sam was still there, a friendly smile, and for me, always great advice. So many of my life's decisions never felt right until I had a chance to visit with Sam. 37 years of great haircuts and life advice. I will miss those times. My deepest...

I met Sam in feb 2005 due to my ex wife kicking me out of my home in Oregon City, I moved to Gresham temporarily and needed a cut, been going back ever since, always looked forward to seeing Sam, in 2019 my wife and I moved to Prineville but every 4 to5 weeks there was a road trip to see Sam for a cut and fun conversation, gonna miss that guy RIP Ol Buddy

I started going to Sam in early 05 when my ex wife got me kicked out of my home, I had to move to gresham for a month and stopped at Sams to see about a cut Sam said come back in 15 min I did and been going back since. In 2019 we moved to Prineville, I couldn't see changing Barbers so A road trip to see Sam every 4 to 5 weeks RIP Ol Buddy

Sam, was everyone of my milestones. Sam started cutting from the 7 years old and I’m now 51, so 44 years. Sam would always have something witty to say or a good joke. Sam was an amazing man and I will always cherish my 30 minute time with him once a month. I will miss him very much. Our prayers are with the entire family. With my deepest condolences, Scott Thompson and family.

It's difficult to believe he's gone. He cut my hair on the Wednesday before he passed. He's cut my hair every 21 days for over 30+ years. He was not only my barber, but I considered him a friend. Being older and retired, I would sometimes tell him that the highlight of my month was getting my hair cut! On seeing each other, we would always start by giving each other a rash of crap to start things off--all in good fun! I'll miss that.

A beautiful picture of Sam reflecting his love of life. He was a good friend and a great barber. I enjoyed my time with him on the golf course, at Kiwanis, and in his chair. Our hearts go out to Peggy and the family. Gary and Judy Head

A terrific man. Going to miss our regular chats during getting haircut over the last 12 years. My sympathy to all of the family which he spoke about often.

Sam was my barber and good friend for years. The earth itself is in tears at the loss of such a gentleman.
