Not sure what to say?

I worked on a Pediatric Unit with Dr. Miller for years. I was very sorry to hear of his passing as he takes with him the era of true heart and love of what he did.
He taught me how to CARE for my patients and the families. He molded alot of us in to the professionals we are today. Dr. Miller meant more to my career than I could ever say.
He will be missed.

In the summer of 1987, Dr. Miller performed corrective surgery on me and in doing so, changed the quality of my life forever. Never once, in the past twenty years did I ever experience any problems relating to my surgery. I am sincerely grateful. But more than being a great surgeon, Dr. Miller was a great man. He was always kind, never promoted himself, and treated me with the grace and respect afforded to a close friend even though I was only a patient and an acquaintance. I know first...

I am working overseas and learned of Dr. Miller's death. 25 years ago my 9 year old daughter was in an accident and Dr. Miller operated on her and saved her life. She is 32 now and has two daughters of her own and we are able to enjoy our grandchildren because of Dr. Miller's prompt and expert surgery. God Bless Dr. Sam and his family.

Dr. Miller did surgery on our son in 1980.(Our son was only 2 weeks old) Dr. Miller was a wonderful person and had the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever met. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

My hometown is Centre, AL and I still have many relatives in the area. My mother has been a subscriber for the past 40+ years to the Cherokee County Herald and Ms. Dixie Miller (Sam's Mom) was a contributing writer for many, many years. I met Dr. Miller once many years ago at Providence Hospital where I worked since 1960. Our sympathy for your loss.
