I was sad to learn of the passing of Sam. I knew him form Barringer HS and worked with him at Charm. He consistantly bugged me to work on Saturdays (overtime) and always refused telling him I was out late Fridays. One of my fondest memories of Sam was at Basin Street East NYC to see Sarah Vaughan whom he adored. During the applause after on number Sam (with a few drinks in him) jumped up and yelled "Sarah, I love you" to which she replied " Ilove you too" a memory that I enjoyed sharing...
