Sam Houston "Reddog" Redding

Hi Redding family......Chris, we never met, but I was a childhood buddy of Sam's, and just learned of his passing through the Boone Braves page on FaceBook. So sad, and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Dixie, don't know if you remember me, but I ran into you about 20 years ago or so as I recall... I reminisce now about all the hijinx Sam, Jimmy Austin, and several other neighborhood boys used to get into in our early teens...we used to have SOME fun I can assure you, and 40 years...

I am so, so "saddened" to hear of Sam's ("Sambo's") passing. He was like another son to me....and a "great" neighbor for many years. "Sambo" made the "best" barbecued boiled peanuts that he had waiting for me at my front door every Friday when I got home from work....yummy. I called him many times to chase snakes out of my yard. He was ALWAYS willing to help me with anything. I was just looking at a picture the other day of my Son, Jim and Sam holding a big fish they had just caught in Lake...

To all of Sams family, my heart is so sad to hear of Sam's passing. Our families had been like family since before I was born. My prayers are with his family! Love Nikki "Brinkley" Angelo and the entire Brinkley family

I am sorry for your great loss he was a great friend to all of who knew him. it was truly a blessing to have reddog as a friend he allways made me fill happy we talk a lot about the love of animails
