Not sure what to say?

Aloha! Thinking of the "greatest generation"! Fondly remembering your audaciousness expressed through your vibrant art! Your life was blessed and we were all better for knowing you! God Bless Sam!

I was 20 and working as a waitress in Port Aransas Texas when I saw one of his wonderful paintings. At the time I didn't have the 300 dollars to buy one. I am 53 and I have longed for it ever since. I am watching closely online now. So sorry for the loss of this talented artist.

Sam your legacy lives on in your paintings ...

Aloha! We recall fond memories of Sam and Edith in California and Hawaii. Our condolences to the family and to Edith Sloane. Sam will be missed. Mahalo Sam for sharing your joie de vive ... Stephen & Diane Wellman

My sympathy is extended to my childhood neighbor and classmate, Ann, and to the Rigling family. Best,
Beverly Egan Houston
