Not sure what to say?

Sam continues to be part of my life; I think of him regularly, as an old friend I wish I had known better. Not enough time, and the wrong place to connect. Enjoy your friends and family while you can. Stay close.

Sorry to lose Sam. As a young man he would ask many questions and was very knowledgeable about many subjects. Definitely a representative of the greatest generation and what they´ve accomplished.

One of those few good men that makes the world better by his presence. A symbol of his generation, Sam was tough as nails and soft as silk. He could advise and inspire through his own experience and example. With his passing, the world is less interesting, but his memory continues to light the way for other like minded-souls. Thank you Sam for helping others.....I will miss the joy of speaking with you.

Sam Saran, the mobile man . . .

My late father Doug Mueller knew Sam in the 1960s and 1970s when Sam was with Inland Steel and Pop had the same job at Borg-Warner. They were contemporaries as business communicators, I guess. Pop was very fond of Sam. Often quoting him around the house. He had great respect for Sam. Condolences from our family to yours.
