Not sure what to say?

As the former Dean of the FAMU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, I fondly remember the " Colonel" as I called him. He represented to our students and alumni the epitome of professional excellence and achievement. The holidays will never be the same. Enjoy your eternal rest and know you are thought about greatly and stilled missed. Dr. Henry Lewis III

I was so sorry to hear about Sam's death. I had been trying to reach him. My nephew passed unexpectedly about the same time, and I was very stressed. I will always remember the pleasant times we had together in Tallahassee for the FAMU football games. Mae Williams

"As a decorated ROTC and pharmacy graduate of Florida A&M University, he served his country through a long and distinguished military career. He personified the motto "Excellence with Caring" as a stellar pharmacy practitioner with exemplary service to the National Pharmaceutical Association."

Back in my old Army days, I always looked forward to our annual Army Pharmacy meetings and the opportunity to meet my fellow Pharmacy Officers. Sam was always a pleasure to meet, always looking at the positive side of things. He was a great guy all around.

Sams family, so sorry to hear of Sams passing, I had the privilege to know Sam for many years when I was on active duty in pharmacy, and found him to be a gentile soul and a fine pharmacy officer! Blessings

RIP Comrade
