Sam Sumner Singer

i will always rember sam, he was a good frend and a good man to work for, he was always fair and under standing.

I worked for Sam in the 1980's at a trucking company he owned in Rome Ga. (Edward McGill Inc.) he was a verry good man to work for he was always good to us and was a verry good friend to me .

Max and I are so sorry to hear this news. He will be missed. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

When I was 10 years old Mr. Sam brought a Country Music show to Lumpkin. It was part of a Political Rally. It featured Justin Tubb son of Earnest Tubb. I was standing outside the bus just looking. Me. Sam invited me in.
He said “This is Mike Stevens our singer her in Lumpkin “. That was 58 years ago. I never forgot his kindness.

Dear Sam´s wonderful Family and his many Friends, I was deeply saddened to read of the passing of this this great, marvelous, giving and community oriented man. Sam cared immensely for all close to his heart. He was always ready to share his wisdom, resources and time to those who sought and needed. May God and all the Angels be with his soul in heaven, his Family and his wealth of outstanding colleagues. RIP Dear Sam
