Not sure what to say?

Dear Uncle Sam, I remember you in those fancy pinstripe suits when you came to see grandma and grandpa in Madera. Never a hair out a place. Whenever I see a Mafia movie , the guy in pinstripe suit always brings my memory of you. You had a great laugh and smile. You'll be missed! Love Laura your favorite niece in Madera.

R.I.P. Sam, You have left a lasting impression in my heart. I miss your stories from back in the day from your youth and how you met Blanca. I could see the love you had in your eyes when you spoke of her and all your kids. You were an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many. I miss your amazing smile. You were always welcoming and made me laugh at the family parties. May your family take comfort in knowing that you are with God now and no longer in pain. God be with your...

Though I did not know Sam until later in his life, he had a lasting impression on me. He accepted me into the family when Anthony and I announced that we were going to be married. I remember many kitchen counter conversations with him. He took the time to come over and sit with me. I will treasure those moments for the rest of my life. He was more than just a father-in-law to me. He treated me like one of his daughters. Sadly, my children, his grandchildren, never really got to know him....

I am truly sorry for your loss. I know how much your dad meant to you. He was your ideal and a hand to lead you through the dark phases of life. He will always remain in our hearts.

You were the best dad a daughter could ask for, you were always there for me and Cathy, we remember how fun it was when you took us for a ride in your white Chevy truck and we got to sit in the back and in those days you could and you would take us to get ice cream in Martinez, there were so many nice memories me and Cathy love you so much thank you for being a great father to the both of us.

Your daughters,
Cathy & Nanette
