To The Verde Family:

Sam was one of the finest gentleman I have known..............and I knew this remarkable man for 70 years.

You see, Sam Verde was in the sales business in the 40s and 50s and that's when I knew him as a splendid kind man.

I was only 5 years old at the time and Sam was selling tobacco products to my Father, who had a small grocery store on Pine Street in Beaumont.

Bless Mr. Verde! He will certainly always be remembered as a faithful servant for family, friends and all he met along his way! Surely he was a man who fought the good fight and finished his race. The last time I saw him he and LaQuita were cheering Colton's Crew on walking for JDRF, inspiring us all with their loving care. We are so lucky to know and love the Verde family.
