Not sure what to say?

I was an A&I classmate with Sam. We did our student teaching together at Mathis Texas. [email protected] We are sorry for your loss. God´s power is all encompassing and can often bring joy and pain at the same time. Joy in knowing your parents are together with God but at the same time the passing brings awareness to each some level of pain in handling the grief of the passing development in looking to God for continued strength in going forward as the future has only one direction....

Both myself and my husband feel extremely blessed for having had Mr. Womble as a teacher and mentor. He was an amazing man and he will be missed by the many lives that he touched.

When I first met Sam at A&I, I thought he would be the one I would like to have on my side in a tough spot. We enerted college together and were classmates for several years. As times have it, you lose contact with classmates after graduation. Then as my daughter entered into the workforce with A&M extension, she became good friends with Sarah and Sam Womble. I have kept up with the family thru their relationship. Our prayers were with him and the family throughout the struggles. They...

All the Monte Alto folks and the McAllen FFA kids ( of which I was a member of each many many moons ago) remember Mr. Womble fondly. He was as good as they come and a role model for many of us. IN a word, I would decribe him as DEDICATED.

-- Up to his final days, i never lived down the name " double trouble ". He often said, i know what double trouble means, i have one of my own; referring to his daughter Valarie.
Many people knew Mr.Womble as the man with the thick glasses, or, our old ag teacher. Most of us knew him as a beautiful man inside and out. I will always remember him as the man who truly believed in never giving up too soon. He stuck to his word & fought 8 hard years.
No matter how bad the pain...

We are so saddened to hear of the loss of Mr. Womble. We met him only a few times at the San Antonio Shows and enjoyed his vast knowledge of cattle. We will remember him from the wonderful way his son Sam and his daughter-in-law Sarah spoke of him. He's left many stories to share with their children. His greatest tribute is his love for his wife, children and grandchildren. What a wonderful legacy to leave.

I am sorry for your loss. I grew up north of Edcouch and knew SA, the kids, and spent many an enjoyable hour fishing with Sammys Grandmother in the small canal next to their home.Dick Herzog

Our family extends sympathy to yours. May God strengthen you through this time. Love, the Johnsons

Mr Womble was such a role model to me through his quiet persistence to see me be my best as a student at Smithson Valley back in the late 90's. I will always be greatful for his guidance and education with the upmost respect, a truly beautiful man. My heart goes to his family and friends for peace in this time of change.
