Sam ZumBrunnen

Sam is one to always be in the hearts of many. The community is saddened by the loss of him with his caring and fun nature. God rest his soul, you have a good one with you.

Sam was always smiling and helpful, never seeming to have a hard day. Troubles? If he had any he surely didn't show them. A very personable guy and great employee, friend, coworker! So sorry to hear about him

Sam was always one of my favorite coworkers when I worked at Bales I could always hear him laughing. He will be missed.

So sorry we didn't meet. We have to be relatives. I can only guess if you were from the Wisconsin, North Carolina,0hio, Wyoming, or Salt Lake groups.

As a customer at Bales Farmington Thriftway for almost 40 years, our family has known many of the employees pretty well...not just to say "hi" but to see how they are doing, share happy news, etc. Sam was a very nice man, easy to talk to and always willing to share a smile...when he became ill this past year, we missed seeing him at the store and were saddened at the news that he was not getting better and just recently passed. Kathleen...just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you...

Sam was very dependable, capable and hard working. For several years, I was privileged to demo food products in the three departments Sam regularly managed- frozen, deli packaging, and dairy. He was always diligent about his work yet never too busy to help a customer, greet a worker, or dash up to cashier. Sam accomplished a lot and was respected and valued by co-workers and customers alike. Sam was special in oh,so many ways! He and Kathleen (Bales post office worker) married in Bales...
