Read MoreI called her Marlene. She was the first friend, my best childhood friend, and neighbor when we lived in Farragut Projects in Brooklyn, NY. Our families were very close. I'm so sad to hear of her passing as well as other family members. We were like sisters and brothers! I remember how much fun we used to have together as children. My condolences to all family members and friends who were touched by knowing her.
