Age 22
MS. SAMANTHA GREEN SAUGUS- Ms. Samantha J. Green, 22 years, died as a result of an accident on Friday. She was the daughter of Gary L. and Valerie E. (Bourque) Green. Born in Lynn, a lifelong resident of Saugus. Ms. Green was currently attending the Salter School where she was studying to become a medical assistant. Samantha was currently employed at the Bay Ridge Hospital where she was a unit secretary. In addition to her parents, Samantha is survived by her grandfathers; Richard Bourque of Saugus and William Green of Maine. She was the niece of Pamela Bourque, Sandra Fitzgerald, Amy Pereira, Marcia Jepson, Denise Heffernan, Gail Green-Drum, Ronald Bourque, Michael Bourque and also survived by many cousins. She was predeceased by her grandmothers; Amy Bourque and Jean Green. In lieu of flowers donations in Samantha's memory may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970. SERVICE INFORMATION A funeral will be held from the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and Friends invited. Dear Val & Gary, I worked with Samantha at Bayridge for a little over a year & she was a pleasure to work with and always smiling she was a beautiful girl I can not image the pain you are feeling but my prayers are with you both. Your guardian angel will be watching over you.
