Samantha Leigh Watson, age 34 of Smyrna passed away suddenly Saturday June 30, 2018. She was born in Manchester, TN and was working for Nissan Battery Plant in Smyrna. She enjoyed kayaking, going to concerts, attending sporting events, spending time with her family, and friends.
Samantha is survived by her wife, Jena Gail Watson; mother, Mary Clayborne of Manchester; father, Dave Clayborne of Manchester; brother, Cody Clayborne and wife Gunnery Sgt. Brittany Clayborne of Prague; sister, Shelby Clayborne of Smyrna; brothers, Calvin Barnes of Lynchburg, Chris Curtis “Joe Dirt” of Manchester; god mother, Belinda King “Aunt B” of Tullahoma; god son, Jayden Haynes of Kentucky; four fur babies, Dixie Mae, Josey Leigh, Cooper Wayne, Harper Diane, and many aunts, uncles and other family and friends who will miss her.

Samantha was my "SUNSHINE". When I went to visit Samantha and Jena, she would always greet me with a HUGE BEAUTIFUL SMILE of hers, a BIG HUG and a SWEET KISS. Samantha was one of the kindest person we have ever known. We wanted to be at the service but didn't know until just a few moments ago that is was tonight.
