I had the privilege of having both Sameer (two years) and Mo (one year) work for me at my summer camp. I was always so impressed with Sam's interest in everything about life. He would converse about music, politics, education and just about anything else you wanted to talk about. One morning in the early spring God looked upon His world

He looked and saw Sameer so ill and said come home to me

So Sameer went on a journey to see the Lord above

And left upon the earth
all of those he loved

But be not sad for dear Sameer for he is happy up above

And when you hear a faint musical sound

It is with great distress that I heard of Sam's passing. He was a wonderful, talented young man who had a tremendous future ahead of him, as seen (for only one of many examples) by his work in the Staples' Science Research Program. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to teach both Sam and his brother Mo. Please know that there are many at Staples like myself who knew Sam well and who share your grief.
