Not sure what to say?

My name is Alan Griffin I met Sam in 1966 when I got a job at Churns Furniture we delivered furniture and repaired furniture new and antique furniture. He was a great role model always up for any challenge. He became friends with my dad thru the Elks club my dad would say Sam says hi. I was blessed to have known him and now God is blessed having him in heaven.

My condolences to Mona and family Sam was a customer at the store I worked for A great guy to talk to especially about the raiders I enjoyed my conversations with both of them Thinking of you, Mona doing this difficult time Hugs and prayers , Benita

Sam was a special family friend who treated me like family. His off color sense of humor and boisterous laugh will always be remembered with warmth. Love and peace to Mona, Chris and Suzette.

I came to North County in early 1979. Sammy was my first North Co. Patrol Sergeant. You could not have asked for a better supervisor. He was a Deputies Sergeant. My family and I, offer prayers and Blessing to the baker family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Sam was a good friend and all-around great person. We miss him and may he rest in peace

May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in Peace. Amen (Sammie you had a good ride) everyone that knows you will miss you -

Uncle Sam, I already miss you. Your love for family and friends was second to none. I will never forget the fond memories I was privileged in making with you throughout this lifetime. I will always remember you and share stories of you with friends and family. From the "snipe hunts" as a child, to the family BBQ's. The rest of the family will recall "Uncle Zippy" and other great memories. You will continue to live among all that you encountered in this lifetime. You were a very special person...

Sammie started as my boss then became my friend/family. Sammie nicknamed me "Ma" a name I will forever cherish. He was a true friend always ready to lend me a helping hand whenever I asked. He was one of "my Boys" and I will always love and miss him

Sam Baker was a gifted person who´s love of family and friends goes beyond words. My heart is broken, but knowing he´s with God brings endless happiness to all of us.
